DAPHNE SILVER
Cozy Mysteries with a Dash of History

About Me
Daphne Silver is the Agatha-winning author of the Rare Books Cozy Mystery series. The first in the series Crime and Parchment (Level Best Books, 2023) won the Agatha Award for Best First Mystery Novel. Its sequel The Tell-Tale Homicide released in November 2024, with the third coming in the fall 2025.
Besides cozy mysteries, Daphne has written history books as Lauren R. Silberman including Wild Women of Maryland (History Press, 2015) and Wicked Baltimore (History Press, 2011).
When not writing, Daphne has worked for over twenty years in non-profits, including museums and symphonies. She has the great fortune of being married to a librarian. They live in Maryland with their family. She also loves drawing and painting. Although she’s not much of a baker, she won’t ever turn down a sweet lokshen kugel.
